Commodore’s Shenanigan was a huge success!
Thank you to all those who participated in the Aug.4~7. It all started off with the “T” Dock houseboaters throwing a potluck dinner on their dock. During the evening about 75 people in total wined and dined and then listened to Jimmy and the Jammers play some sweet tunes!
Fri. night there was a small rafting party listening to Honeymoon Sweet out in front of Lakeside park.
Sat. festivities kicked off with 24 boats partaking in the Sail Past from the PYC down around Commodore Bruce’s Seaward 27 out in front of the Sicamous.
Then at 4 PM the party got going on land with people dressing up in their Hawaiian attire for a Burger and Bevy. There was a silent auction with lots of neat prizes donated by Government Street liquor store.
Some more people rafted up to listen to tribute bands play CCR and AD/DC in the evening at Lakeside Park again.
Sunday morning started with some Champagne, OJ and pancakes before ending with tunes from the Peach Festival
